We are happy to announce that Coastside Hope is an official charity of the 2013 Half Moon Bay International Marathon. Runners can donate directly to us as part of their registration – and we’ve already received $500 from runners.

But wait- it gets better! The Marathon will match all donations up to a total of $2,500. We are honored that the volunteers of the Marathon choose to help their neighbors in need through Coastside Hope.

For the second year, Coastside Hope is sponsoring an aid station to encourage and refresh the runners. Coastside Hope Staff, Board Members, and volunteers will hand out water and snacks to runners.

When the race is done, surplus water and snacks are donated by the Marathon to Coastside Hope. We then distribute these supplies to our clients This reduces the carbon footprint of the Marathon because our warehouse is just around the corner from Race HQ.
