Farmworker Fund Update
On behalf of the Coastside Hope family, we want to thank our neighbors near and far for their kindness during this challenging time for our Coastside community. The generosity and solidarity demonstrated by our community members are an indication that we are a community of strength and Hope!
Coastside Hope’s Farmworker Fund raised $227,000 from our local, state, national, and international neighbors. The funds raised through the Farmworker Fund will be used to benefit the farmworkers and their families directly. To this day we have spent $48,163.05 (as of February 28, 2023) in financial assistance grants, rental assistance, food, prescription medications, and other immediate needs. The remaining funds will continue to be used to support the individuals and families affected as they find their way forward.
Our campaign to support these families has closed, but our Farmworker Fund remains open to help the many other farmworkers in our community. Thank you for being our partner in Hope! – Coastside Hope Team
