Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that I would be writing this letter. A letter which stands as a beacon of hope to all those who at times feel like they have no voice in this world. To those who feel alone and scared and those who simply want a better life for themselves and their loved ones.

The process itself, was at times tedious, that however never discouraged me. I was constantly running up and down between HMB High School and the district office, in a struggle to obtain the necessary documents needed for the application, it was time to play the waiting game. To my surprise I didn’t have to play for very long. The day I received my work authorization card will stand as one of the happiest days of my life. I quickly ran home to show my parents, their faces lit up with joy once I had shown them what had arrived for me.

Everyone at Coastside Hope was friendly and helpful. None of this would be possible without them, they helped me through every step of the process.
