Volunteer party was a success!
Volunteers across the nation help their neighbors, serve their communities, and provide their expertise. This is the case for the volunteers serving Coastside Hope. Coastside Hope is best known for providing necessities such as food, clothing, rental, and immigration assistance, to our neighbors. We are the designated San Mateo County Core Agency providing community assistance for the mid-coast residents primarily living in Half Moon Bay, Moss Beach, El Granada, and Montara. We could not provide our services without our great staff and dedicated volunteers who are at the foundation of our success and impact. Our volunteers mean the world to us!
For the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we were able to gather and celebrate the hard work that many volunteers and staff have put forth. During the pandemic, volunteers stepped forward to keep our food distributions running and our pantry stocked with food and essential infant needs to continue to serve over 3,500 of our neighbors. It was an honor and a pleasure to celebrate our accomplishments as an organization with our dedicated volunteers. With the support of The Barn, we hosted an afternoon where staff, board members, and volunteers enjoyed a delicious meal and chatted about their continued commitment to building a strong community where neighbors prosper together.
