Our Volunteers Mean The World To Us!

Coastside Hope relies on volunteers to help with our safety net programs. Volunteers are vital to running our food programs. Our pantry is re-stocked every day by a volunteer. At our bi-weekly Senior Brown Bag off-site food distribution, our employees function primarily as supervisors, with the bulk of the work being done by volunteers. Our Christmas Adopt-A-Family is entirely run by more than 200 volunteers.

Brown Bag

Senior Brown Bag Food Distribution

Volunteers deliver food boxes by foot (with the help of carts) to seniors in Half Moon Bay on the second and fourth Monday of the month. Volunteers move tables and chairs to clear space for food and put back when done, get carts from the storage closet, stack pallets, break down boxes, and remove trash and recycling.

Address: 1 Bloom Lane, Half Moon Bay from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Please park on Main Street and walk to the meeting location on the map below.
