Who We Serve

Our client base comprises about 15% of the population of the mid-coast and includes: the working poor, the homeless, seniors living below the poverty level, the disabled, and families and/or individuals in crisis. We serve people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens.

Employed clients typically work in farming, nurseries, hotels and restaurants, construction, domestic services and commercial fishing.

Food Pantry

Pantry food comes from community donations, local food drives, food recovery from local grocery stores, and from Second Harvest Food Bank.
Brown Bag

Brown Bag

Coastside Hope collaborates with the Second Harvest Food Bank twice a month to provide essential food assistance to those in need within our community.
Critical Needs

Critical Needs

As the primary community assistance agency for the San Mateo County mid-coast region, Coastside Hope offers support for emergency needs.
Tax Preperation

Tax Preperation

Eligible clients are able to have their federal and state income tax returns completed as part of the Earn It! Keep It! Save It! program.

Our On-Going Services Include

We cannot help our neighbors in need without the financial support and hard work of our neighborhood donors, volunteers, and community partners. You give over 5,000 hours of service every year, and provide more than 30% of our funding. Thank you for your support.
