Bocce By The Sea 2015 Results

April 12, 2015 Mullin’s Bar & Grill: A brilliant sun and blue skies completed the gorgeous setting for the first Bocce By The Sea fundraiser for Coastside Hope. Good friends, both old and new, came together to raise more than $2,500 dollars for Coastside Hope’s safety net programs. The casual sophistication of Mullin’s was a perfect fit for Coastsiders at play. A delicious hamburger dinner, a no-host bar, and four Bocce courts lay ready at 4 pm.

By 4:30 more than sixty supporters and Bocce enthusiasts filled the courts with a spirit of fun and camaraderie. Bocce master Anthony Maestrini explained the rules to the many Bocce rookies, set up the ladder, and the tournament was underway! After two hours of good-natured competition, the championship trophies went to the winning team of Mike & Susie Montgelas, Linda Morasch, & George Alexsovich. According to Bocce tradition, each member of the first & second place teams was awarded a bottle of fine wine.
