What is SVGives?

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of community foundations, Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) will raise money for local nonprofits through a single online donation platform.

Coastside Hope is gratefully participating in this 24-hour “online telethon.” in fact, we’ve decided to eliminate our traditional summer snail-mail donation campaign in favor of this online day of giving.

We’re happy to announce that Tunein and General Catalyst Partners are each providing a very generous matching grant of $1,000 for donations given to Coastside Hope on May 6, 2014. That’s a total of $2,000 in matching grants on SVGives day!

Additionally, SVCF has arranged for hundreds of thousands of dollars in random gift matches!
