Free Tax Preparation: 2015
From February to April, our all-star VITA volunteer tax team once again helped lour ow-income neighbors accurately file their taxes.
Judy O’Leary, Felipe Maya, and Wes Brykailo prepared a record 436 tax returns for local residents whose average income was $22,829. Refunds totaling $552,696 will go directly into our local economy.
Every year, in conjunction with the United Way and the IRS, Coastside Hope volunteers prepare taxes for our low-income neighbors.
